The Abia State Government has urged newly recruited teachers to enter the classroom with renewed zeal and professionalism as they begin their teaching careers. During the closing ceremony of a six-day training programme in Aba, Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Goodluck Ubochi, described the recruitment exercise as the most transparent in the state’s history. He emphasized that promotions will now be strictly based on performance and competence, not mass promotion. The Permanent Secretary, Uchechukwu Kalu, and the Coordinator of the Education Reforms and Innovation Team, Victor Oko, also charged the teachers to uphold values of discipline, respect, empathy, and commitment. Some of the new teachers expressed gratitude for the opportunity, promising to deliver quality teaching in classrooms across Abia State. The event also featured project presentations, quiz competitions, and cultural displays. 👉 Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe for more updates on education and governance in Abia State. #abanews#AbiaState #Education #Teachers #TeacherTraining #Professionalism #Commitment #FutureLeaders #NaijaTeachers #NextGeneration #TeacherTraining #Professionalism #Commitment #EducationForAll #NextGeneration
