THE DOLOMITES BY CAMPER VAN | Must See Places | Van Life | Italy, Europe

Dolomites Road Trip / Dolomites campervan / Dolomiti Hey all, thanks again for tuning in with us two Numbskulls! Today is a very exciting vlog for us as we head into The Dolomites. And wowza, this place really is picture perfect! With a lot of hype around this place, we was keen to test it ourselves, with our first stop at the mighty Seceda. This beast of a peak is accessible by cable cart however we chose to take the more scenic route via Col Raiser which is a half way and cheaper cable cart! With a STUNNING 4 hour loop, we was truly blown away by the views and even got to see our first ever Marmot in the flesh. Seceda, you was a belter! With a quick rest, we rose bright and early the next morning to tackle the Adolf Munkel trail. This route can be found on our favourite hiking app, AllTrrails. We even more scenic views, amazing wildlife, even wild deer roaming around - this trail stole our hearts and so did the Dolomites! Now here is where we get a little bit naughty! Don’t snitch on us lol… So alpe di siusi is one of the most stunning spots in the Dolomites, and we know there is a cable cart to nearby where you can hike to the famous viewpoint but there were strict no driving rules in the area from 9am-5pm leading to some heavy fines. We read conflicting info that actually cars were banned at all times and had to be parked for an absolute rip off mate.. £28 to park your car…WHY!! Anyway long story short we figured after 5pm we will just go for the drive to the viewpoint and see if we get told off… turns out a few more rebels were there too… we will leave the rest for the video but wow WAS IT WORTH IT!!! There’s more, we are busy bee’s… but I’ll stop rambling! Next up was the famous Church of St John, This place is belting but we didn’t get the weather to bring out the mountains. The same happened for Karersee which is a very popular spot just off the road… After being stuck in the rain we decided to go for a less known walk to a little lake called wassersee. This walk took us through some cool camping huts and we also stumbled across a high seat which is belting!! Ending our vlog we show you Toblacher See, another great spot just off the road!
