5 MUST SEE STOPS ALONG I-77| ROAD TRIP DIARIES

A good way to make a trip back home from "Vacation" is to make stops along the way! We took I-77 N and broke up our 9 hour drive home with multiple stops on the way! IF your coming from the Carolinas heres a few stops that you can make along the way! 1) Lake Norman State Park- The lake itself is great, but the state park is pretty subpar. It's dirty and the trail is pretty rugged. Its a good place to go if you want to take a break out of Charlotte. 2) Stone Mountain State park- This place is awesome and it's massive! You could spend a whole day here, but if you want to see some a awesome waterfall without much of a hike then this is the place for you! Less then a mile and you can see an a waterfall and yo can climb to the top of the mountain which is 1000's of feet above sea level. 3) Appalachian Mountains (Blue ridge parkway)- It's just pure beauty. All you have to do is drive through this route and you'll see mountains, valleys, sunsets, fog, rain, everything. 4) Charleston, West Virginia- Cute little town right on the river, with beautiful mountain views and historic places to visit. A little abandoned and subpar food. 5) Hocking hills State Park- Amazing, you have to visit this place. Hands down one of the most beautiful places I have seen! 6) Columbus, Ohio A great city with great food and great views. Right on the river and a great skyline. The biggest problem is parking. Like its literally frustrating and some of the worse I've seen! Thank you so much for watching, I truly appreciate it!
