US, Russia meet in Saudi Arabia for talks on ceasefire in Ukraine | DW News

Fresh talks aimed at reaching a ceasefire in Russia's war in Ukraine are underway in Saudi Arabia. Representatives from the United States and Russia are in Riyadh for the negotiations. The Kremlin says there is an understanding with the US that the war needs to end, but there are many aspects to be worked out. Despite the talks, Russia and Ukraine continued to trade drone attacks over the weekend.
