This is a featurette in which Sean Astin, Elijah Wood, Billy Boyd, and Dominic Monaghan describe the daily life of becoming and portraying the four primary Hobbits of Peter Jackson's films. We see actors get dressed and makeup'ed up as Hobbits, as well as interacting behind the scenes. “A Day In the Life of a Hobbit” relates the average experience for those actors. We see material from the set and hear from Jackson, Wood, Monaghan, Boyd, and Astin.
