Lance Pitlick is more than a fantastic hockey player. Pitlick was drafted by his hometown Minnesota North Stars in the 9th round, 180th overall in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. After being drafted, he played for the University of Minnesota for four years, providing a strong defensive presence for the Golden Gophers. Pitlick was the University of Minnesota team Captain during the 1989–90 season. After his 12 year Professional Career which found Pitlick playing in 393 NHL Games with Ottawa & Florida Panthers. He did not play his 1st NHL game until the age of 27. He was the inventor of the SweetHands StickHandling Trainer & Founder of Snipers Edge Hockey and sold it in 2018. Pitlick is a Level 5 USA Hockey Master Coach Hockey runs in the family as both his boys were drafted in the NHL - Rem his oldest was drafted by Nashville and is currently with Montreal Canadiens. Pitlick's youngest, Rhett was drafted by Montreal and is currently with University of Minnesota. Pitlick is the creator and Host of the Hockey Journey Podcast which launched this year.
