Surajit Kalita Astronomical Observatory, University of Warsaw, PL Title: Systematic Effects on Fundamental Constants: Insights from Fast Radio Bursts and White Dwarfs Abstract: Understanding the nature of fundamental constants is crucial for unveiling the underlying physical laws of our Universe. However, measurements of these constants are inherently limited by experimental uncertainties. This presentation explores the impact of systematic effects on the determination of fundamental constants using astrophysical objects. We investigate the influence of two key factors: system temperature and gravitational theory. We leverage observations of Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) detected by various radio telescopes and White Dwarfs (WDs) from the Gaia data survey. By analyzing the internal structure of WDs within the framework of different gravitational theories, we demonstrate how variations in both temperature and the underlying theory of gravity can affect the accuracy of fundamental constant measurements. These constants include the fine-structure constant and the proton-to-electron mass ratio. Moreover, utilizing independent measurements of dispersion measures and redshifts from a sample of localized FRBs, we explore how it alters these constraints for dynamical dark energy model. This exploration underscores the critical role of considering a system's energy scale when establishing constraints on fundamental parameters.
