Todays walk starts at Toronto's Union Station. Looking up at the historic Royal York Hotel, we direct ourselves East, and head down Front Street through the Downtown towards St.Lawrence Market then the Distillery District. This area of Downtown Toronto is a buzzing area filled with both locals and tourists, soaring skyscrapers, and an eclectic mix of restaurants. It’s also home to iconic attractions like the CN Tower, St. Lawrence Market, and the Flat Iron Building. Continuing further East on Front Street, we pass the St. Lawrence Market. This iconic building is a major public market building in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located on the southwest corner of Front and Lower Jarvis Streets. Along with the St. Lawrence Market North and St. Lawrence Hall, it comprises the St. Lawrence Market complex. Wikipedia We finally reach the pedestrian-only Distillery District. Set in quaint 19th century buildings that once housed a large whiskey distillery, draws crowds to its cobblestone streets lined with hip indie restaurants, bars and boutiques. Art lovers come for the galleries, outdoor sculptures and dance, music and stage performances at the area's several theatres. In December, the annual Toronto Christmas Market takes over the streets. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapters: 0:00 Preview 3:55 Royal York Hotel 8:10 Front & Bay Street 12:03 Libeskind Tower 18:18 Flat Iron Building 23:00 Distillery District 36:30 Canary District ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Intro music produced by Ryan Booth at The JamBooth Recording Studio. https://thejambooth.wixsite.com/music / jamboothmusic Downtown Toronto City Walks on Front Street from Toronto Union Station to St. Lawrence Market #torontowalkingtour #toronto #downtowntoronto #4k #virtualtours
