"This is the mastery of a Shinobi." The next S Rank run takes us to the Fish Market. This one was a bit tricker, especially due to the introduction of the little amoeba enemies that leave gas clouds behind for a few seconds, which are too wide to dodge through, cutting off a direction of escape for a few seconds - Sometimes at the worst of times. Took a couple of hits here and there that the shield passive protected me from, with the platforming sections passing enough time to be able to recharge between fights. I would honestly like to see some sort of cooldown indicator showing how much time left before it recharges. Maybe as part of a future patch. The final encounter before the boss in the dock is a pain in particular, as you have to dodge around falling cargo crates that fill up the arena while trying to watch your spacing, with mobility options being rapidly closed off by both toxic clouds and crates dropping on one another. Best advice I can give here is get up on the first new crate to drop every time to distance yourself from enemies down below. The falling cargo crates will squash and instakill them anyways, leaving you to only worry about the enemies on the same level as you. The boss can be a little annoying with its attack patterns at times. Berserker amulet and high combo coming in clutch once more with a single Fire Ninpo completely annihilating him from 80% health down to zero (skipping the execution once again, but as always, not strictly required for S rank). I skipped over the Elite Squad encounters and getting all of the medals as they're not a strict requirement for S ranks in Arcade mode, although I'll definitely revisit in future and try for a "perfect" run of doing all Elites, all medals and full combo.
