Summer's properly kicked off this spring, and I'm getting ready for some serious heat on my upcoming trip down south in Europe this July with the temperatures possibly over 40 degrees Celsius. That's why today I'm testing BREATHABLE motorcycle pants for high temperatures! ☀️💨 But beware - we'll also take a closer look at cheap offers... and reveal a bit of scam in it. In this video: 🔹 I test and review several types of summer motorcycle trousers. Checking comfort, airflow, and quality. 🔹 IMPORTANT WARNING! I'm taking a closer look at CHEAP trousers allegedly made with KEVLAR. Unfortunately, many non-certified products on the market are simply a SCAM! ❌ Instead of real Kevlar, cheap, yellow COTTON is often used, which only mimics its appearance but provides NO abrasion protection. It's a scam I fell for myself! In the video, I show how to spot such fakes and why certification is so important. 🔹 I compare cheap "Kevlar" knock-offs with other tested models. Is it worth the risk for a lower price? 🔹 I summarise the tests and share tips on how to choose safe and comfortable summer trousers without getting conned. 🔹 I share my insights and my personal choice, which is: 💡 AN ALTERNATIVE TO TRADITIONAL MOTORCYCLE TROUSERS? Maybe you're looking for something different? It's also worth considering protective motorcycle base layers, e.g., leggings or thermal base layers from Bowtex. You wear them directly against the skin, under regular, casual trousers (like your favourite jeans, or even your pyjamas!). They offer a high level of abrasion protection (check the specific model and its certification!), with the option to add better protectors, while providing great freedom of movement and allowing you to look 'normal' when you're off the bike.
