Please watch: "Where's the B12? Is the Vegan Diet Really Nature's Way?" ➨ • Видео ~-~~-~~~-~~-~ Tumblr was the original source for #TheDress! And it's growing in popularity! This video is a very basic peak into Tumblr and my feedback after my initial experiences. Tumblr is described as a “microblogging” and social networking site and I haven’t misspelled Tumblr. It does not have an E between the L and the R. A microblog is different than a standard blog because it’s usually shorter, it could be just an image or a link. Users can follow other users’ blogs and they can make their own blogs private. Tumblr currently has 225 million blogs. The Washington Post recently published an article stating that Buzzfeed, the viral powerhouse, finds its stories mostly from Tumblr. Buzzfeed was the outlet that first broke “The Dress”, originally posted on Tumblr, which became a web phenomenom of unparalleled virality. Much of the websites features are accessed through the dashboard which is the “front page” when you first enter the site. The dashboard is a live feed of recent posts for blogs that you follow. From here, you can comment, re-blog and “like” posts from other bloggers. From what I’ve gleaned from my personal use, Tumblr seems like an excellent place for a blogger to get started. It allows you to customize your blog with various themes much like one’s personal blog website such as mine, LiveMoreNow.net. If you have your own blogging website, I do not see much advantage to using Tumblr. Feedback I’ve received from other YouTubers suggests that it’s very difficult to start a following on Tumblr. Although it is gaining popularity, without a built in following from other sites, your blogs probably won’t get much attention. For me, as of today, I don’t see a ton of value in Tumblr. I know it has a massive following that would vehemently disagree with me. Perhaps as it grows in popularity, my opinion will change. It seems like most of the same information can be found on other sites such as Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, YouTube, etc. However, as it grows in popularity, having a presence on Tumblr can’t hurt if you are trying to grow a small business or blog. Tumblr is great for pictures, so if your product is image based, Tumblr might be valuable for you. As with all of your social networking, nobody wants duplicate blogs that are a copy of your website. For that reason, it’s important to create, re-blog and post other related content, be it pictures, quotes, articles, etc. ==================================================== At LiveMoreNow.net visit for personal development or just to have a laugh, the goal here is to help people impact positive change for themselves, their families, their communities....
