Why am I so fascinated by HDR — high dynamic range — in mobile photography? Because it lets us capture what was once impossible: glowing skies, the shining sun, and perfect colors. And we’re not just photographing them — we can share them in HDR video, which requires a special workflow. I took the Xiaomi 15 Ultra across the stunning landscapes and cities of the Balkans, and through 200 photos, I’ll show you how to start exploring the exciting world of HDR video. Czech version of the video: • Jak při focení mobilem kouzlit s HDR - Xi... Important note: this is an HDR video. If you’re watching it on an HDR display, you’ll see the photos and videos in their full quality. You’ll notice it, for example, in the glowing highlights and perfectly white clouds. That said, it’s a bit of a risky experiment — on an older computer, for instance, the video might not look right. So if possible, I recommend watching it on a phone or a TV that supports HDR.
