I meant to upload this LONG ago to go with my other Final Fantasy boss videos, but the original got lost when I went to Windows 10. Anyway, this game isn't too bad, it's nowhere near the best of the series, but I've played it many many times since it was new. Pretty much defined my freshmen year of high school, and I still think Squall is the best looking character of the entire series. Some GREAT Uematsu tracks in this game, the boss theme is definitely one of them ("Force Your Way"). I do really enjoy the two fights where "Only a Plank Between One and Perdition" plays (Bahamut & Ultima Weapon), really creates a sense of urgency, although it's a bit disappointing we don't get some "super" boss theme, like the "Dreadful Battle" from FFIV, or "Battle to the Death" from FFVI, or "JENOVA" from FFVII. Although "Premonition" which plays during sorceress fights, is really underrated. Overall, this game is really too easy to take advantage of, and is disappointing in terms of no real armor/weapons/equipment. Constantly buying and finding upgrades in RPGs is one of the best parts. No treasures in dungeons. The final dungeon, Ultimecia's Castle, had the perfect formula to be fucking awesome. The gothic/medieval scenery is still second to none to this day, and Uematsu's music "The Castle" could not be more perfect. But the dungeon was far too small and far too easy - in other JRPGs the final dungeons create fear and anxiety due to the difficulty. I actually do not like FFIX, but I'm glad they went back to the old formula in it. Some gems to me, the Centra Ruins with Odin, Adel is scary as fuck, and I would've liked to see more of the end story revolve around her instead of cowgirl wannabe time kompressor. P.S. - I actually screamed during the Omega fight when I accidentally went past The End the first time. I had spent between 2-3 hours trying to get it to pop before the thing would kill me, so I nearly had a heart attack. P.P.S. - I realize I should've included Jumbo Cactuar since I put Tonberry King in, but oh well. 1. Ifrit 0:00 2. Biggs/Wedge/Elvoret 1:29 3. X-ATM092 8:42 4. Granaldo/Raldo x3 20:01 5.
