Content: Śruti - Ivan Vukosavljević Too much beauty can be hard to bear, but in front of our Loading Dock it’s just mesmerizing… The amazing dancer Indu Panday, trained in both Kathak and Bharatanatyam, shares her radiant virtuosity in a brilliant dance solo. She combines expressive gestures with percussive ankle bells. Vibrant elegance connecting with the soil beneath our feet. Niels, Pepe and Joey perform Ivan Vukosavljević’s Śruti on shruti boxes. This traditional Indian instrument is normally used to accompany singers and other instrumentalists, but Ivan decided to explore its expressive qualities, and composed a beautiful miniature that we share in an intimate setting.
