Filmed in the ruined remains of the old church at Slebech on the Eastern Cleddau. Slebech was the headquarters of the Knights Hospitallers in West Wales and the church (12th - 16th century) is all that remains of their presence. It was deliberately ruined in the early 19th century by the first Baron de Rutzen who wanted a new church in a handier location. Music is the plygain carol `Wel dyma'r Borau Gorau i gyd' played on medieval double chanter bagpipes - carvings of which type can be found all over Britain, but a great many in the South West.
