Super Mario Odyssey is one of the most unique mario games ever made and that is put on full display by the game’s first two levels: cap kingdom and cascade kingdom. Both Bonneton and Fossil Falls act as perfect first levels for super mario odyssey, allowing the player to learn the controls and also several of Odyssey’s unique traits such as cappy, captures, power moons and of course its bosses. In today’s episode of level by level, I will be analyzing both cap kingdom and cascade kingdom to describe how they are the perfect first levels for a mario game due to their design, aesthetic, and layout!
