This video is complete starting with cleaning and disassembly of parts (mirrors, top molding, etc.), trimming the graphics, wrapping the entire driver's side in one large piece, and finishing by re-installing the parts. Five live running cameras were used in this video to capture all the angles and all the action. Geek Wraps® wrap process is shown step by step using Power Slam Magnets to line up the graphics and start the wrap, Wrap Juice in certain areas as needed to move air out for better adhesion and introducing the newest addition to the Geek Wraps® tool line, the Competitive Dual Soft Edge Squeegee. The paper backing on the wrap was pre-slit horizontally so the wrap can be installed in two halves, top and bottom like a huge crack and peel sticker. A line of Power Slam Magnets are placed just under the slit line holding the wrap in place while the paper backing is removed from the top half and the wrap is temporarily attached to the top of the car. The wrap is squeegeed from the magnet line up approximately 4 inches to completely secure the wrap in place before removing all the magnets. Next, the paper backing from the bottom half is removed and the bottom half is installed, complete with detailing so there is nothing remaining to be done before moving on to the top half. Once the top half is installed, the detailing completes the wrap installation. Using this technique enables the installer to easily work solo.
