Bicycle Touring Provence Day 3 - Cycling Gorges du Verdon
When I started planning this trip this stage was what I planned the whole tour around. And it lived up to my expectations, and the some... Started out with a nice descent down to Castellane and continued into the Gorge. All along the road is was met by gorgeous autumn corls and magnificent views of the impresse surroundings around me. After finishing Cycling Gorges du Verdon I stumbled upon the incredibly picturesque little town of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and stopped there for a while to imbibe the atmosphere of this lovely town. I then climbed up to the Valensole Plateau, cycled by some lavender fields and finally set up camp west of the town of Riez.
