12V Air Conditioning - 'Holy Grail' Treeligo Mini Split Van Install

12 volt Air Conditioning for a van or motorhome is hard to find, especially on a budget. We install the Treeligo 12v Mini Split air con unit on our van back doors and test it out to see whether it lives up to the hype. Our setup relies on a 680ah AGM battery bank, half of which is usable for this if needed. Aside from this we have 960W of solar, so wanted to see if this AC install could truly be off grid. Naturally we will put it to a longer term test too as we travel about in our campervan. We bought the 12v AC direct from Treeligo, starting with an email. This wasn't super smooth and we kept it safe by going through PayPal. Not recommending you do this, but it worked for us. The Treeligo mini split does offer some level of cut off at 11.9 volts, but we didn't want to go that low as we are not using Lithium, and like an element of control.
