This is how to get to the highest lookout and viewpoint in Abbotsford, BC and it's easier then you might think. Abbotsford, BC is located an hours drive east of Vancouver Canada and mostly know as a growing community in the Fraser Valley. With open fields and farmland but towering over Abbotsford is Sumas Mountain. Sumas Mountain is an under ratted gem in the Lower Mainland. Tons of deferent hikes, mountain biking, snowshoeing in the winter, Chadsey Lake and multiple viewpoints to check out. In this video we were originally planning on hiking 17 kms from the trailhead to the highest spot on Sumas Mountain. The eastern viewpoint. When we got there thought we were unaware you could drive up the majority of the way up. So we hike 5-7km midway up Sumas Mountain to Chadsey Lake and up to the Eastern Viewpoint. It's a beautiful hike, deep in the forest, crossing creeks, bridges, Chadsey Lake and ultimately you'll arrive to one of the highest viewpoints in Abbotsford.
