How To Make A Wall Mounted Saddle Rack

Hi everyone! I am making some new pieces to use in my tack room because I want to makeover my tack room, and make the most of the space that I have. So instead of having saddle stands that take up a lot of room, I decided to make a wall saddle rack. It takes up less space, and I can store three saddles on this rack. It was very easy to make this saddle rack! I used wood that was left over from other projects, some astro-turf carpeting, and some stain that I already had. The only thing I had to buy were the screw eyes and the rope hooks. If you are thinking of making one of these racks for yourself, when you go to the hardware store, go to the rope section, that is where they have the rope hooks. These are what I used to make the "hangers". And the rope hooks come in 2 different styles. You can get the U shaped hook ($4.50 each) or you can get the angled hooks. These are only $2.10 each, and they work just as good as the U shaped hooks. I am re-doing my tack room, and this is one of the first projects! Over the winter I will keep making new projects, and this spring I am planning on doing a reveal video for you, to show you how I have transformed my tack room from an unorganized mess to a beautiful and useful tack room!
