This is the first generation battery hammer drill by BOSCH, made in 1984. I got this tool from a pile of rubbish from Japan. It was abandoned for two reasons. The first reason is the original battery uses 20 old NiMH batteries, equal to 24 volts, while the new technology is Li-ion battery. The second reason is the power switch, it is expensive and very difficult to find. Only gear system are good. I decide to repair this tool by replacing new power switch, build new battery system and rewinding new armature from 24v to 18v.
