Some stuff I forgot to say: "God rays"/glare: That's never bothered me, but I know it bothers a lot of people. I think Rift has it the worst, and Vive/Vive Pro are second to worst. I saw some in Pimax but very little. I don't remember seeing any in PSVR. I always play these in the dark, and that probably helps. Switching between Pimax, Vive Pro, and Vive required that I re-paired the controllers to each headset each time. That was annoying and played a part in me only wanting one Steam VR headset. Steve of VR Roundtable seems to think you can fix that by using a Steam controller dongle. Some games just didn't look right in Pimax. It was like the 3D was off. Beat Saber's main menu screen has smokey effects, and they looked weird. I played Audica in Vive then Pimax to see if the wider FOV would make the game easier. Well, I could definitely see more stuff on the left and right, but the 3D felt off, and I felt like it was making it harder for me to aim and shoot things at the right time. I pre-ordered the 5K+ on 10/26/18. It was delivered on 3/26/19. I used to use Revive to play Rift games on Vive, but I kept running into games that didn't control well or didn't even control at all, so that's why I bought a Rift. Rift's cameras have to go back to your PC via USB. Your motherboard might not be able to handle three sensors, so you might have to buy a USB pci-e card that may or may not work. My previous Rift PC (2012 mobo) wasn't working well with it. I built a new PC, and no USB card is needed. Vive base stations only need power. I've had two OG Vives. I got a new one because they reduced the weight of their newer model. I then sold my original one to a friend who still has it.
