December 2, 2020 - Calendar Time, daily math, learning fun! - Learn at home

Put your birthday on the calendar by emailing [email protected] with: 1) First Name 2) Birthdate 3) State/Country Join us every Monday and Wednesday for calendar time. A fun way to interact with numbers, dates, money, weather, and a little bit of character building history! Learning fun with daily math! We start with a Days of the Week and Months of the Year song. Then we find out today’s, yesterday’s, and tomorrow’s date. From today’s date, we look at greater than and less than. Then we count on, count down, and do money math. We look at today’s weather and make a graph. We count with our doodle bug by 1’s, 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s. Then we look at place value with our counting straws. We’ll end with a true character building story from history. The December 2 story talks about the responsibility we have to others. Calendar time is a great morning routine / circle time activity for children in preschool, kindergarten, first, second, and homeschool. Learn at home!
