Hereditary (2018) This movie was disturbing, emotional, and absolutely unforgettable. I went in knowing nothing, and I’m still trying to process what I just saw. Directed by Ari Aster (Midsommar), Hereditary stars Toni Collette, Alex Wolff, Milly Shapiro, Gabriel Byrne, and Ann Dowd. Toni Collette’s performance completely blew me away. What a POWERHOUSE performance. The atmosphere, the sound design, and that slow, creeping dread made this one of the most unsettling horror films I’ve ever seen.
