Types of Solar and Lunar Eclipses

In this video, I'd like to talk about the difference between a solar and lunar and discuss different types of eclipses. As the moon orbits the Earth its position changes and may block the sun. When the shadow of one celestial body like the moon or the earth falls on another an eclipse occurs. A solar eclipse happens when the moon comes between the earth and the sun and the shadow of the moon falls on part of the earth a lunar eclipse happens when the earth comes between the Sun and the moon and the shadow of Earth falls on the moon. I show a diagram of a partial solar eclipse, total solar eclipse, and an annular eclipse. In addition, I show the types of shadows which includes the umbra, penumbra, and antumbra. Finally, I diagram the different types of Luna eclipses, penumbral, partial lunar eclipse, and a total lunar eclipse.
