The Magnus Robot Fighter saga continues with the introduction of Leeja Clane.Artist Russ Manning had a wonderful clean and fluid style and it lent itself well in his renderings of the female form, and in particular Leeja.Her wide eyed innocence and beautiful visage were a counterpoint to her physical charms and the racy outfit Manning designed for her. She provided the impetus for many stories as Magnus was constantly rescuing her from many dangerous situations.This video is not TRUE animation, only that which low end software can provide, and the vocals may sound stilted because of the software origin,( my own voice isn't that great), but it does give an idea of just how great a movie or animation treatment of this character by top end creators would be.It's also a nostalgic visit to the great art and ideas of Russ Manning.
