Custom Sign Build

This is a custom sign for a local construction company. This sign will hang in the boardroom of their new headquarters. I really enjoyed the challenges of this build. We wanted to keep the rusty look of the metal, and attaching it to the walnut backing board was challenging. I couldn't weld on the backside of the metal because it would discolor the front. I ended up building some custom studs that could be used to hold the metal to the wood. The last challenge was getting a round sign to hang level based on two hanging points. The sign is fairly heavy, and without knowing what the sign would be mounted two, I thought two points of support would be best.
