Arkaetroid - Smash All The Bricks - Test 2018

In 2018 I took an online course instructed by Rick Davidson in which I learned about Unity Game Development in 2D. With my learning I developed "Arkaetroid" which is an arcade style game, inspired by Arkanoid and Metroid. This game consists in destroying all the bricks with an energy ball that is launched from the player's spaceship. The ball will bounce all over the screen and once it hits a block it could either be damaged or destroyed. Along the game, the player can launch the ball at any moment by clicking or tapping the space bar. To move up and down the spaceship with the "Arrow Keys" and be able to shoot enemies with 'left click' or 'spacebar' only if the player acquired or hit the "Thunderbolt" upgrade. The laser only works against enemies and does not affect blocks. Some assets, sound effects and sprites are from open sources, and some owned by Nintendo, but I only used them for learning purposes. I used a track from King Crimson's album "ProjeKct Three" named "Masque 5" for the game music. Game has some glitches but it was still very fun to go through all the process.
