What happens when you bring together brilliant minds—dedicated youth workers and facilitators from across Europe and beyond? 🌍 Erasmus+ KA153 Training Course 📅 25 February – 6 March 📍 Curaçao 🧠 Organized by Kultur & Art Initiative e.V. This Erasmus+ training course was specially designed as an advanced learning and networking opportunity for our partners and team members. Over the course of 10 transformative days, 24 experienced youth workers from Curaçao 🇨🇼, Italy 🇮🇹, Greece 🇬🇷, Turkey 🇹🇷, the Netherlands 🇳🇱, Estonia 🇪🇪, and Germany 🇩🇪 came together to exchange insights, strengthen collaboration, and co-create innovative approaches in youth work and Erasmus+ projects. We kicked off the program with a visit to our inspiring local partner Green Kidz Curaçao 🇨🇼, where we learned about their impactful environmental education efforts and their vision for a cleaner, greener future. Afterwards, we each introduced ourselves and our organizations—sharing what Erasmus+ means to us and why we are passionate about international youth work. 🤝✨ 🌟 The energy was electric. The commitment was real. During our morning and afternoon sessions, we began with joint plenaries and then dove into hands-on work in smaller “task forces”—sometimes two, sometimes four—designed to spark deep collaboration and idea-sharing. 💡 These sessions led to tangible results that we are truly proud of 👏 🎯 Our key focus areas included: Innovative methods in Erasmus+ project design and delivery Intercultural learning and non-formal education Green approaches and sustainable practices Strengthening project management and teamwork skills As the Caribbean sun dipped below the horizon each evening, we took time to explore Curaçao’s stunning beauty—its pristine beaches, breathtaking views, and vibrant natural and cultural heritage. Every moment reminded us of the importance of protecting the world we live in. Green Kidz deepened this awareness. The contrast between the island’s natural beauty and the real environmental challenges it faces gave our mission greater urgency and meaning. 🌿🌊 We also had the privilege to visit our newest partner, @childrensmuseumcuracao 🧸—a magical place where learning comes alive through play. This hands-on, multisensory museum empowers children (ages 1–10) and families to discover the world in creative, interactive ways. It was a powerful reminder of how education, when centered on curiosity and imagination, plants seeds for lifelong learning. 🎭✨ And as if the program couldn’t get more dynamic, it coincided with Curaçao Carnival—one of the most anticipated and colorful festivals in the Caribbean. A spectacular fusion of African, European, and Latin American influences, the Carnival dazzled us with its parades, music, and joyful spirit. From the lively streets of Willemstad to neighborhoods across the island, we experienced the heartbeat of Curaçao in full celebration. Together with our partners, we plan to integrate these rich cultural experiences into future youth programs—blending sustainability, diversity, and intercultural dialogue to build even more meaningful and inclusive learning opportunities. 🫶 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this journey unforgettable: @greenkidzcuracao @childrensmuseumcuracao @mosaica_aps @nloprojects @iyseda @youth.anagenesis ...and all the incredible individuals who shared their passion, creativity, and knowledge. We’re already cooking up new projects—with exciting collaborations ahead, including fresh ideas with @mosaica_aps. 🔥🚀 The impact is only just beginning. Stay tuned—because this is just the start. #ErasmusPlus #YouthWork #EUPartners #KulturArtInitiative #Curacao #GreenYouth #InterculturalLearning
