Since that he’s been through different experiences and has gotten a capacious knowledge in both life and music. The concert ‘Seven Years Outlines’ is describing how these experiences reflect on Maher’s compositions, which have been inspired of different events he’s been through. Being a musician was the spot of light of finding the way out of the depth of chaos which the war had caused to every individual Syrian. The music was the way he chose to document what a massive recreation of life in diaspora means. By using varied music styles range between classical, jazz, groovy and Syrian music, Maher creates his own sound to draw the story of his journey with both bitter and sweet sides. By this concert, Maher has graduated from the Soloist-line (The Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in rhythmic composition) from The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark www.mahermahmoud.dk
