In the 70s, Walt had passed away and all of the projects that he had started had basically been completed. But the studio still pumped out some classics such as The Rescuers, Pete's Dragon, Freaky Friday, and this movie, The Cat From Outer Space! "Three scientists help an Alien feline, stranded on Earth, to repair its damaged spacecraft in order to return home but their efforts are hampered by inept army officials and foreign spies." The movie also features many Disney regulars such as Ken Berry (Herbie Rides Again), Sandy Duncan (The Million Dollar Duck), and Roddy McDowall (That Darn Cat.) And, it was directed by Norman Tokar who also directed Candleshoe and The Apple Dumpling Gang for Disney, among others.
