Husavik is a town on the Iceland ring road known for being a hub for whale watching. Husavik has an assuming air, that of a special place with hidden gems, if only you care to look a bit closer. Our whale watching experience in Husavik was interesting enough, though we visited in spring. Right off Iceland's Ring road, it is easy to access and a great way to experience the region's whaling history and its evolution into modern day whale tourism.
