Cannabis Innovations and Regulation in Latin America

Founded in 2020, CANNRA emerged from informal gatherings among regulators aiming to share insights, challenges and best practices in the absence of federal engagement. Schauer highlights the importance of state collaboration, resource sharing and peer-to-peer discussion. The interview also delves into rapid changes in the cannabis industry, addressing issues such as lab testing, product safety, interstate commerce, federal legalization and the potential rescheduling of cannabis.
