Check out our Reverb listing: https://reverb.com/item/43816792-slin... This drum is a fantastic early 40s era 7x14" Radio King snare drum with a solid maple shell! Finished in a timeless white marine pearl wrap, this drum has some cosmetic blemishes that are quite normal for this drum's age and do nothing to affect its playability. Its internal muffler and strainer are both smoothly functional, and its shell is in fantastic shape! Steve’s notes: The very first Radio Kings debuted in the mid 30s. The drums made in the first year had thumb wheel adjustments on the snare extension bridges (as you can see on this drum). That feature extended into the early 40s These early Radio King snares rarely make it to the market, and when they do, they are often in bad shape, missing parts, or have been modified. But, not this one. This drum is a superb example of the world famous Radio King snare drums and would make an excellent addition to a fine collection or as a player’s drum.
