Stevens Derahap Fishing with XPOD Megabass XPOD 27-11-2014 Im fishing in Pilot 111 at Bangkok Thailand,The pond is located just off the Bangna-Trad highway at kilometre 39.5. If you are driving from Bangkok take the Bangna-Trad elevated highway and get off at Bang Wua (บางวัว), make a U-turn then immediately go into the left lane. The road will then bend a little to the left. Right after the bend you will see the sign for Pilot 111 on the left. Travel along the small road and you will find the pond on your left. For this trip Im using set tackle bc 20lb for main line, 40lb for leader, rod 30lb rod, and for lure Megabass XPOD lure it because sometimes at this pond the barra is boiling and usually the barra come to surface to find some small fish. This Megabass XPOD has description length 108.5mm for me using top water lure at sea min 10cm because windy condition make a small wave and can attracted fish to cacth your lure. For weight 3/4oz very nice to use can easily long cast for windy situation. For this spot my target is Barramundi. How to play Megabass XPOD, now I'm using Position 1 - Pencil Bait (roll walker mode). When playing this type of lure, aggressive twitch will be most appropriate. Its a bit different from normal walk the dog technic that usually has a pause between the twitching, this technic will suit for fast striking predator such as peacock bass and barramundi.
