Morning everyone, so just another quick tip - tip number four of my hundreds that we're gonna get to. Okay, so babies that don't sleep. Colicky babies don't sleep well, and lots of parents are like: "...oh, you know, I want my baby to sleep more...." But the thing is, it's the tummy is the thing that keeps them awake. So, you want to try and fix the colic, and then the sleep will happen. So, rather than trying to think about sleep, you know, you start doing a bit of sleep training or you're trying to do all these different things to sleep, they just won't sleep if they're windy and colicky, because that's what wakes them up. So, think about yourself – would you sleep through needing a poo at night, or having tummy ache, or having wind? So, these babies that have colic - they've got wind; they've got traptoring; they've got wind pain; they might be constipated or very commonly (like I go on about with the antibiotics) they can have an upset tummy where they can be pooing ten times a day and through the night! Those babies won't sleep, because every time they have that wind moving or that urge to have a poo, that will wake them up. So, the tip is to fix the colic; fix the wind; fix the constipation; and then the baby will just naturally sleep off that. Okay? Thank you.
