Living in Community: Understanding Perspectives on the Sex Industry

Living in Community was started in 2004 in Vancouver, BC as a series of conversations to address community health and safety and the rights and needs of sex workers. Over time, Living in Community has expanded to become an incorporated non-profit organization that works across and beyond British Columbia, bringing diverse stakeholders together with the common goal of collaboratively improving the health and safety of sex workers while reducing stigma and harm. Looking back to how the project began, this video explores this innovative model and how it has made an impact on communities in Vancouver and beyond.
