What is the endocannabinoid system? The endocannabinoid system is actually the molecular system responsible for regulating and balancing many processes in the body including immune response, communication between cells, appetite, metabolism, and memory to name just a few here. Did you know that every mammal has an endocannabinoid system? The way I like to think about it is that our endocannabinoid system actually craves cannabinoids so it is bringing the body back to homeostasis, bringing the body back to balance. I truly believe it is like a vitamin that everyone should take and use for health and wellness. Endocannabinoids and their receptors are found throughout the body - in the brain, in the organs, in the connective tissues and in the glands and most importantly in the immune system.
