In this two-part series I will bind The Tail of Peter Rabbit using the sewn-board binding structure. This robust structure, along with the heavy paper I use, make it a perfect book for little children. The card for the boards is 300gsm (10pt) Bristol board The endpapers are Fabriano Tiziano 160gsm. This is a bit heavy for endpapers, especially for a book so small. But the drumming makes the laminated leaf less stiff. The board is 1mm generic acid free binders grey board. The adhesive I'm using is Evasol EVA.
