New cover video unleashed! It's been a while since the last time I made a cover video. On November, I went to Sweden to go to House of Metal Festival 2024, and finally I was able to see Dismember performing live!! The shirt I'm wearing in this video is the one that I bought there. It was really an amazing time to meet Dismember. So this time, I decided to cover their masterpiece, Of Fire, one of my favorite songs of all time. It's actually the fourth song of them for me to cover, so I think I wrote how much I've been influenced by them, and that I have a huge respect on them. I'll write below how I used it. I actually didn't use the pedal when I recorded my guitar (of course the movie was recorded at the same time). I recorded the dry guitar track when I took this video, and later I re-amped the track using Axe-FX II and the BOSS HM-2. The reason why I do that is because the pedal has too much noise when you use it in the "Swedish Death Metal" way, and for me it sounds clearer when it's re-amped. Therefore, to be accurate, the BOSS HM-2 isn't used while I was playing and recording this video, but it was used afterwards, so I hope you can feel the buzzsaw tone. And one more thing... I think you can notice the recording is on, and it's one-take as always. However, as usual, I couldn't finish it on the first try, so that's why the track is overwritten. Finally, I'm sorry for the sloppy parts. The tuning is C standard. Don't forget to subscribe my channel and hit the like button!
