2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 Classic | P0172 & P0175 Rich Codes Finally Diagnosed and Fixed

In this video, I take a look at a customer’s 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 Classic that’s been battling the infamous P0172 and P0175 rich condition codes. The truck had already been to another shop where a mass airflow sensor and a fuel pump were installed in classic “parts cannon” fashion. Unsurprisingly, neither repair fixed the problem. Right before the customer considered lighting the truck on fire, he brought it to me. After a proper diagnostic approach and a few minutes of testing, the root cause was identified, repaired, and the truck was wrapped up and back on the road. This video is a real-world example of why diagnostics matter and why throwing parts at a problem rarely works.
