How to Quickly Switch Between Different Regional Appstore Accounts on iOS and Avoid Annoying Two-Factor Authentication Here’s a method to make switching between different regional accounts on iOS more convenient. We’ll use an iPhone as an example—the same steps apply to an iPad. 1. Open iPhone → Settings → Scroll to the bottom → Mail → Accounts. 2. Add all the App Store accounts you need to use. 3. The first time you log in, two-factor authentication will still be required. 4. Important: For accounts that are not your primary one, turn off iCloud sync to avoid messing up your emails and calendar. 5. Once added, these accounts will show as “Inactive” under Mail Accounts. Now, for apps you’ve already downloaded, as long as the corresponding account has been added in Mail, updates won’t require entering the password again—they will update seamlessly. If you need to switch accounts to download new apps from another region, you’ll still have to switch in the App Store, but two-factor authentication won’t be required anymore since the account is already logged in on the device. 😁
