Kalayaan Grounds, Malacañan Palace December 21, 2025 They say Christmas is for children, and the sixth day of 'Tara sa Palasyo' Christmas celebration reflected this spirit, as families and young visitors filled the Kalayaan Grounds at Malacañan Palace on December 21, 2025. The evening featured the 1998 film Hiling, directed by Jose Javier Reyes, as part of ‘Sinemuling Pasko: Pinoy Classics Rewind’. The story follows Anna, a young girl who can grant the wishes of those around her, learning that even good intentions can lead to unexpected results. With its themes of kindness, generosity and community, Hiling was a heartwarming holiday film feature. Adding to the festive atmosphere was a performance by Imusicapella, an internationally acclaimed church choir based at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of the Pillar in Imus City, Cavite. The group, which regularly performs at the Imus Cathedral and St. Peregrine Chapel, delighted the audience with traditional and contemporary Christmas songs, filling the grounds with melodious holiday cheer. Children, families and friends enjoyed the evening together, participating in games, amusement rides and other attractions that brought laughter and fun all night long. ‘Tara sa Palasyo’ is open until 23 December 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., free for all visitors.
