Many people prefer to avoid them because of their bad reputation and would only use them in extreme emergencies. Yes, we are talking about public toilets in the metro. But is their infamous reputation deserved? We decided to reveal that in this video! Which toilets should you avoid completely and which ones should you feel free to use? I. P. Pavlova The relatively new toilets are already interesting because of the payment system – they cost only 10 crowns, but if you don’t have cash, you’re out of luck, as you can’t pay by card here. However, the toilets themselves are among the better ones in the metro. They are quite clean, paper is replenished and you can only smell chlorine detergent. Museum The toilets here are rather disappointing – they are not exactly clean, the cabins lack handles and the other equipment doesn’t look appealing either. It's a real shame for this busy station... You also pay 10 CZK to use the toilets at the Museum. Můstek There are public toilets at this station in three places - in the middle of Wenceslas Square, on Jungmann Square and down on Můstek. The toilets here are much cleaner, smell better and the equipment is much more modern. Vltavská Unfortunately, you won't find model toilets at the Vltavská Station. The smell can't be overcome even with chemicals, the cleanliness isn't exactly top-notch, there's graffiti on the walls... Nádraží Holešovice It's not much better here either. There's not that much of a smell here, but the cleanliness definitely looks different. Hopefully things will improve here (and at Vltavská) as Holešovice itself changes. What are the plans here? Watch: • Proměna Holešovic – místo heren byty za 70... And if you're curious about what the new train station here will look like, we made a video about it too: • 7 novinek v MHD – co nás čeká? Invalidovna Despite the very nice "toilet master", the toilets here may aspire to be the worst public toilets in Prague. It's true that it only costs 5 crowns to use, but only one of the cubicles is functional, the "pee wall" doesn't flush, the smell is really strong... Anděl You can find the toilets at the Na Knížecí exit - and if you use them, you'll feel like you're in another world compared to the other toilets in the metro. Clean, fragrant, and you're not afraid to touch anything. Malostranská For how many people pass through here, the toilets here are a bit disappointing – they look like they’ve been through a lot. But at least they try to keep the environment clean… Stodůlky You’ll pay only 5 crowns here too, but you’ll get a not-so-appealing and not-so-clean environment. Among the toilets we visited, these are rather lower standard. And what are your experiences with the toilets in the Prague metro?
