The Ledmo LED light stand is constructed out of durable steel, Aluminum, ABS PLastic, and will stretch from 30 inches to 80 inches in height. The tripod base stretches to 40 inch radius for a sure upright position that will not fall over in a light breeze. Of course in more extreme conditions you will want to use the sand ballast bags. The legs are steel mounted to metal core braces. Designed to support up to 35 pounds. And comes with a five year limited warranty. The stand comes with a 4 station cross bracket to hold 4 lights with the included ABS plastic knobed bolts. Five are include, one to mount the bar to the extensor pole and four to mount to each of the four stations. It does not come with a 1/4x20 spigot for mounting a photgraphic light like a hot shoe bracket or boom arm. I did see a wide variety of spigots on eBay from $0.90 up to $20.00 depending on what you might want or need to use for your setting. Internally the extention tube does not have a compression shock system of a spring or air cushion action. The extensor tubes are locked down with an ABS twist collar ring that grips solidly. IMHO this is a durable and handy stand to set up all sorts of temporary high yield lighting. The specific purpose in mind is to support LED lighting. My first use was evening work in the shop where the bright lighting was a definate plus in equipment repairs. We now have convenient cool LED lighting for patio events, shop work after dark, and stage photography.
