Farewell Metro 2001 Scania Solars & ALX 400s

So last year saw the end for the last of Metro's B10BLE's but now the time has come for the next oldest buses in the fleet the 2001 Batch of Scania Solars & ALX 400s in this video we pay a short farewell tribute to these fine vehicles. All Metro and Ulsterbus. 2001 Solars and ALX 400s have now been withdrawn from passenger service. Several 2001 Scania Solars are in use with the Translink Driving Training School. 2003 Scania Solars & ALX 400s are still in service with Metro However a number of 2003 ALX 400s have been transferred to Ulsterbus for school work. The remaining 2003 Solars are expected to last to mid 2020. The remaining 2003 ALXs should hopefully last another year or two. The Batch of 2005 ALX 400s in service with Metro are expected to last another several years.
