The webinar took place on 30th of January 2024, 3:00 pm CET. Participants: Dmytro Boyarchuk - Executive Director of the CASE Ukraine. (introductory presentation), Lyubov Akulenko - Executive Director and Co-founder, Ukrainian Centre for European Policy NGO, Ivan Nagornyak - Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Anders Aslund - Chairman of the CASE Advisory Council. The discussion was moderated by Marek Dąbrowski, CASE Fellow. Institutional reforms are critical for strengthening the rule of law, improving the business climate and protecting civil rights in a war-torn Ukraine. They also constitute the initial cluster of the forthcoming EU accession negotiation agenda. A substantial part of a joint CASE Ukraine and CASE report on 'Economic Priorities in Post-war Ukraine', published in February 2023, was devoted to this question. Now, a year after the report's publication, the invited panellists will discuss what has changed in the institutional sphere, and the rule of law in Ukraine in 2023. They will also focus on the agenda for further reforms. Read the report: https://www.case-research.eu/en/econo...
