This video started off as part joke, and part camera test, but after talking to a few folks I realized that it might actually be useful to share. This is my basic approach to rolling mats for test cutting: I use a table for my rolling surface - even though the table I'm using here is a bit shorter than I would like, it still is faster and more comfortable I roll a four inch length of dowel into the base of each mat - before cutting I can pull the dowel out with pliers and spike the mat safely and easily with one spite remaining in the cutting stand I use five 14" zip ties to secure each rolled mat You may want to play without sound, or reduce the volume, as I neglected to edit out the music I was listening to...
