Gordon Banks, the goalkeeper who helped England win the nation's only World Cup in 1966, has died at the age of 81. Banks made a total of 73 appearances for the Three Lions during his career, including every game of the victorious World Cup campaign. However, the save he produced to deny Pele four years later, during a group stage clash with Brazil, marked his defining moment on the international stage - and is still widely regarded as one of the greatest of all time. Peter Shilton, who succeeded Banks as England and Leicester City's number one, told Sky's Colin Brazier of the friendship and the bond between the two that stretched beyond the football pitch.
